Hanging V Raises

Last week I mentioned that I was going to try hanging V raises to try and take my leg raises to the next level. Having tried them, I can safely say they are a lot harder than standard leg raises. The video below shows my attempt at this yesterday.

I managed only 6 reps before I started to lose form, but it’s a good starting point. I’ll keep working on these for the next few months to try and get up to 20 reps, I also want to try and increase my range of motion and probably slow them down a little with a one second pause at the top.

Tomorrow I’m entering the Sydney Urbanathlon, it’s an 11km obstacle race through the city. This race I’m doing more for fun rather than serious competition but will post how I get on.
