In a previous post, I outlined my design to build an outdoor gym at my home in Jannali, Sutherland Shire.
Much work has been done since then and the bars are in!
It still looks like a bit of a work-site, but the bars are usable and I’m now training here.
Next stage is to get the landscaping done and to have a new colorbond fence fitted.
The parallel bars are 120cm high, giving more than enough room to do hollow body dips and other skills.
Each pull-up bar is 4cm thick, providing a great grip workout.
The main bars are 250cm off the ground, providing plenty of room for muscle-ups for even the tallest of my students. The lower bars is 200cm high.
Each monkey bar is 30cm apart, allowing enough room to do a pull-up between each.
There is a flag pole attached to the front of the bars to allow for human flags, climbing etc.
So far I’m absolutely thrilled with the bars, they are great fun to use and very sturdy.
