Maximum Potential Calisthenics

Sydney Harbour 10km

This morning I took part in the Sydney Harbour 10km race. This really was the most scenic 10km I’ve done, taking you through Darling Harbour and under The Harbour Bridge. It was also the flattest race I have ever run with only one very short hill, a real personal best setter!

Before the race I said I was aiming for under 44 minutes, my personal best was 44:21. I completed the race in 41:56 and I have to say I felt pretty comfortable throughout, my HR never really passed 170 and I rarely got out of breath. So a new PB, a great warm up run for the City2Surf and no injuries, I’d say that was a pretty successful race.
